Getting Started

Things To Do First

Follow Inningly’s recommended setup path so your team is ready for rosters, games, lineups, and pitching.

You do not need your entire season planned before using Inningly. Start with the information you have, then return to these steps as your roster and schedule take shape.

1. Create your team#

Your team is the workspace that connects your roster, schedule, lineups, and pitching information.

Create a team using the correct season, age group, and sport.

2. Build your roster#

Add the players who may appear in your lineups or pitching records. Choose the method that matches where your roster is today:

Your roster does not need to be final. You can add, edit, or remove players later.

3. Add your games#

Add at least one upcoming game so you can begin preparing a lineup for it.

You can add a game manually or sync your Inningly calendar with a supported calendar you already use. Return whenever games are scheduled, rescheduled, or canceled.

4. Create and save a lineup#

Once your team has players and an upcoming game, create a lineup.

Inningly uses your available players, team settings, league rules, and coaching preferences to generate a starting point. Review the result, make any changes you want, and save the lineup to the game.

5. Begin recording pitching#

Record pitcher workload after games, practices, bullpens, or other throwing activity you want Inningly to consider.

Complete and accurate records help Inningly provide useful pitcher workload and availability guidance for future dates.

Keep going as information becomes available#

These are starting points, not tasks you must finish all at once. You can build the roster as players commit, add games as the schedule develops, revise saved lineups, and continue recording pitching throughout the season.

The Get Started with Inningly checklist on your Dashboard tracks your progress and provides quick links back to these areas.
