Version 1.4 · Effective Sept. 23, 2026
Privacy Policy
Engineered Workflows LLC d/b/a Inningly (“Inningly”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a web-based application to help sports coaches organize and manage their teams (the “Web Service”) and the Inningly Pitch Counter iPhone app (the “Pitch Counter App”). Together, these are the “Services.” This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect information in connection with your use of the Services. Some practices described below apply only to the Web Service; the Pitch Counter App’s distinct practices are described in Section 1.8.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Coach Account Information
When you register for a Web Service account you provide your name, email address and choose a password. The Pitch Counter App does not require an account.
1.2 Team & Roster Information
As a coach using the Web Service, you may enter limited data about athletes on your team (for example: first name, optional last name, date of birth). We do not collect addresses, phone numbers, or direct contact information of youth athletes through the Web Service.
1.3 Payment Information
When you upgrade a team from Free to Paid for a single season, we use our payment processor (Stripe) to handle payment details. We also process paid coach subscriptions through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. The Pitch Counter App is free and does not process payments.
1.4 Usage, Log and Device Data
When you use the Web Service, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information — e.g., IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, session duration, timestamps — for the purposes of operating, securing and improving the Web Service. We may also infer approximate geographic information (such as country, state, or time zone) from IP address data for analytics, security, and service operations. The Pitch Counter App does not send usage, log, or device data to Inningly servers in its current version. If you open a website from the app, that website visit is subject to the practices described in this Policy or the destination’s own policy, as applicable.
1.5 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on the Web Service to authenticate users, maintain sessions, track preferences, and improve performance. See our Cookie Policy for details.
You can manage or reset cookie preferences via the “Cookie Preferences” link in the site footer. The Pitch Counter App does not use website cookies or an analytics or advertising SDK in its current version. Websites opened from the app in your browser may use cookies as described in their applicable policies.
1.6 Coach’s Clips & Shared Links
When you save a link (e.g., a social video) to Coach’s Clips in the Web Service, we store only the URL, and your optional tags and notes. We do not host or store the underlying video. Embedded previews are provided directly by the third-party platform (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) based on their own sharing settings.
1.7 Third-Party Embeds and Cookies
The Web Service may display embedded content from third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook). These platforms may set their own cookies or collect data according to their own privacy policies when their content is displayed. Inningly does not control these cookies or data collection practices.
1.8 Inningly Pitch Counter App
The Pitch Counter App works offline and does not require an Inningly account. Pitcher names, pitch counts, session history, alert and maximum values, and the app’s preferences are stored locally on your device. The Pitch Smart reference is included in the app so it can be viewed without a network connection. The current app does not send pitch-count data, pitcher names, preferences, or app usage data to Inningly servers and does not include analytics or advertising SDKs.
If you choose to enable notifications, the app may schedule local notifications on your device. You can manage notification permission in iOS Settings. These notifications do not require Inningly to send a push notification or receive your pitch data.
When you follow an informational link from the app, it opens in your browser. Your browser then connects to that website, which may receive standard web request information and may use cookies under its applicable privacy policy. Contacting us for support or privacy questions is also optional; if you do, we receive the information you choose to provide in your message.
2. How We Use Information
For information collected through the Web Service or when you contact us, we use the information to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the Web Service;
- Process your upgrade payment and team status;
- Communicate with you (for example, support or account-related messages);
- Analyze Web Service usage so we can improve performance, features and user experience;
- Comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse of the Web Service.
Inningly does not receive the locally stored pitch-count data described in Section 1.8 in the current version of the Pitch Counter App.
3. How We Share Information
We may share information we receive through the Web Service or your communications with us with:
- Service Providers: third-party vendors who help us deliver the Web Service (e.g., Stripe for payment processing, hosting providers) under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- Legal & Compliance: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, property or safety;
- Business Transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred provided the receiving entity agrees to privacy obligations at least as protective as this Policy.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. The Pitch Counter App does not send its locally stored pitch-count data to us for sharing.
We do not review or moderate the content of Coach’s Clips or Clip Shares. You are responsible for the links you save or distribute.
If you are a rights holder and believe that embedded third-party content appearing within the Web Service should not be displayed, you may submit a takedown request following the process described in our Terms of Use.
4. Youth Data & Compliance
The Web Service is intended for use by adult coaches (18+). Minors cannot create Web Service accounts. Coaches may enter roster data about youth athletes solely for the purpose of managing their team. Coaches are responsible for obtaining any required consents from parents or guardians where applicable. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent.
The Pitch Counter App does not require an account or transmit locally entered pitcher names and counts to Inningly in its current version.
5. Data Retention
We retain your Web Service account information and team/roster data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Web Service. If you delete your account, we will remove your information unless we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
Pitch Counter App data is stored on your device, not in an Inningly account. You can remove locally stored app data using the app’s Reset All function. Deleting the app removes its local app data from that device. Copies may remain in an iOS device backup if you have enabled backups; backup retention and restoration are controlled by your device and backup settings. Inningly cannot recover locally stored Pitch Counter App data for you.
6. Your Rights
You may have rights under applicable law to:
- Access and review information we have about you;
- Request correction or deletion of your information;
- Opt out of certain data-processing activities.
To exercise your rights concerning information we hold, please contact us at [email protected]. Because Inningly does not receive locally stored Pitch Counter App data in the current version, we cannot access, correct, or delete that data remotely. You can manage it on your device, including by using Reset All.
7. Data Security & International Transfers
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information we receive (for example: secure encryption, access controls, HTTPS). However, no system is 100% secure. Information we receive may be stored and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where privacy laws differ from your state or country. Pitch Counter App data that remains locally on your device is subject to the security settings of your device and any backups you enable.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be updated when we make significant changes. Please review the current version for updates. Changes to the Pitch Counter App’s data practices will be reflected in the applicable version of this Policy.
